The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all front desk operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, and managing a motivated front office team. This role serves as the face of the hotel and is crucial in setting the tone for the guest experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily front office operations including check-in/check-out, reservations, guest services, and concierge duties.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale.
  • Monitor room availability, rate strategies, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
  • Oversee the handling of guest accounts and ensure accurate billing procedures.
  • Implement and uphold standard operating procedures and service standards.
  • Manage budgets, forecast revenue, and control expenses for the front office department.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on occupancy rates, guest feedback, and staff performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hotel front office or guest services, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
