Meeting Point Malta Limited is looking to recruit an Airport Representative to join their team on a full-time basis to join their destination management team. Meeting Point Malta is a destination management company that over the years has succeeded in developing longstanding business relationships with the island’s top hospitality product and service providers.
Skills & Requirements:
Knowledge of Travel Agency & Tour Operator’s Inbound systems, functions and operations would be considered an asset.
Ability to use own initiative and relate to people from all walks of life.
Enjoy and able to work with and help people and customers.
Able to deal with emergencies from time to time, and not be easily flustered.
Good interpersonal skills.
Works well under pressure.
Strong communication skills
Great sense of empathy and judgment
Friendly, service-oriented personality
High resilience, commitment and flexibility
Teamwork
Good English, and spoken; German and French are a significant advantage
Tasks:
Meet and greet passengers at the airport.
Preparation of welcome itinerary for arriving passengers.
Responding efficiently and promptly to guests’ queries.
Escorting guests to their accommodation.
Ensure that all material such as brochures, flyers and signs are readily available.
Efficient handling of difficult issues that may arise such as lost luggage or similar.
Liaising with transport providers and organising vehicles as required.
