APCOPAY is seeking to recruit an Account Management Executive to join their dynamic team.
Based in Malta and reporting to the Head of Business Development, the candidate will be responsible for managing our merchant relationships by handling client queries in a timely manner and providing them with the required information that will support their business and assist them in their projected growth. By utilizing Apcopay’s internal & external networks and engaging available resources, the Account Management Executive will continuously aim to uphold customer retention as well as create new business opportunities for our existing customers in line with the Company’s strategy.

APCOPAY processes 100 currencies across 40 acquiring banks and in excess of 240 alternative payments to over 1200 merchants in 25 countries. APCOPAY’s clients include airlines, retail, and telecoms and has been involved in processing payments for iGaming companies since 2004. ApcoPay is an international company having growing teams both in Malta and Greece.
The successful candidate must have a can-do approach and be ready to find solutions to business challenges that are presented to them in their daily line of business. Previous experience as an Account Manager within the payments, gaming or travel industry would be preferred. However, the most important quality that the applicant must possess is their desire to drive internal revenue growth and generate new sales by upselling and cross-selling to our existing customer base. This is achieved by taking the time to understand the client’s business needs and providing solutions to them while assisting them with their various queries. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory given that a lot of the candidate’s time will be spent speaking and writing to merchants whilst building a strong customer-centric business relationship. Preferred candidates will be highly organized and motivated. Fluency in English is a must and knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
