The Big Kitchen (TBK) is Neriku Catering’s dedicated sister company focused on contract catering — serving care homes, hostels, hotels, and factory canteens with quality meals and dependable service. As our Operations & Client Relations Executive, you’ll be the driving force behind smooth daily operations, consistent food quality, and strong client relationships at all our contracted sites.
Your Role
• Conduct daily visits to service locations to monitor food quality, presentation, and portion consistency.
• Carry out spot checks to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
• Coach and support site teams to meet our high standards in food and service delivery.
• Serve as the key point of contact for clients, building trust through clear communication and responsiveness.
• Lead client meetings to review performance, gather feedback, and proactively address any issues.
• Spot opportunities to grow the relationship — whether through added services, new menu items, or other improvements.
• Ensure staff rosters are properly aligned with the operational needs of each site.
What You Bring
• 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, catering, or operations management, ideally across multiple locations or client accounts.
• Strong knowledge of food service quality, health and safety standards, and customer service best practices.
• Fluency in Maltese and English, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confidence using digital systems for reporting, scheduling, and operational oversight.
• A valid driver’s license — this is a mobile role with regular travel across Malta.
• Bonus: Certifications in food safety, catering, or hospitality are a plus.
