Job Description
Hilton Malta is looking to recruit a Tailor to join their team on a full-time basis.

Duties:

• Assist all Team Members wearing a uniform to have an intact and clean uniform available to them at all times
• Repair uniforms and alter them if necessary
• Alter and/or repair guests’ clothing on request
• Repair bed and table linen and other damaged hotel linen
• Responsible for ensuring that the sewing machines are used correctly, regularly cleaned, and serviced and that they are always kept in perfect condition
• Assist as required by performing the daily assigned tasks within the Laundry, which include but are not limited to; cleaning the team members’ uniforms, as well as guest laundry and performing all stages of the linen process, including; sorting, loading\unloading the machines, and folding
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and team members, over the phone or in-person
• Ensure the cleanliness of all equipment at all times, as well as the general cleanliness of the workplace

Requirements: 

• The role requires a hard-working individual with a good knowledge of the English language
• A very neat personality, charisma and customer care skills, an eye for detail, take initiative, and be flexible to respond to a range of different work situations.
