Project Architect
Our Client is a progressive, international consultancy headquartered in Malta and undertaking a range of local projects including highly technical industrial structures, airports and hospitality projects.
Due to continued expansion of the Architectural Department, a Project Architect is required to be involved with projects from concept stage but primarily to undertake technical duties from RIBA stage 3 onwards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Undertake duties as a Technical Project Architect including concept technical design and feasibility, design coordination, material selection and detailed architectural and landscaping construction drawings and specifications, supervision of works and certification
- Develop technical solutions for architectural designs, whilst ensuring that the aesthetic and functional requirements are met.
- Lead on technical aspect, providing suggestions on building systems, materials, and construction techniques
- Produce and assist the team with the production of architectural and technical drawings relating to architectural components
Talent will:
- Hold an Architectural Degree and preferable a recognised professional qualification
- Demonstrate experience with the architectural detail of projects
- Be capable of holding a senior function, motivating junior members of the team
- Have excellent knowledge of standards, practices and legislation
- Have exceptional communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Be confident managing multiple priorities and projects
