Shipping Officer

• Our client is a leading importer/distributor to Hospitals and Pharmacies.

• Oversee import and export operations while ensuring full compliance with applicable customs regulations and excise requirements;
• Manage product registrations with the National Statistics Office (NSO);
• Submit and manage customs declarations through the CES system;
• Monitor inbound shipments by tracking their progress and updating records accordingly;
• Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers, and drivers to ensure smooth delivery operations;
• Support logistics functions by assisting with receiving and dispatching tasks as needed;
• Prepare and submit shipping documentation to regulatory bodies and freight agents;
• Review freight and insurance invoices to confirm billing accuracy;
• Request transport and shipping quotes while suggesting cost-effective solutions to management;
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to expedite clearance processes;
• Perform cost analysis and validating incoming shipping documentation for consistency and accuracy.

• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role;
• Familiarity with accounting software and systems;
• Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel;
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively;
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
