Regulatory Affairs Officer

V.J. Salmone Pharma Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Regulatory Affairs Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
This position calls for a professional, meticulous, and ambitious individual who is ready to work in a dynamic atmosphere and meet the exigencies of a challenging and rewarding job. The chosen applicant will be responsible for providing effective support for maintaining the company’s regulatory and quality systems to meet requirements and standards according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and applicable legislation and agreements. The individual will be required to support product registrations, post-marketing surveillance, and product vigilance. In addition, he/she will also assist the Regulatory/Quality team at VJ Salomone Pharma in implementing and ensuring compliance with medical devices regulations in a pro-active, timely, and professional manner.

The applicant should:

• Be in possession of a university degree, diploma, or certificate in a relevant scientific or healthcare disciplines such as pharmacy, life sciences, engineering, or nursing with at least one-year professional experience in regulatory affairs, quality management, and/or medical devices regulation;
• Have good interpersonal skills;
• Be able to work on own initiative, as well as work within an established team to achieve goals;
• Be strongly motivated and be able to meet the challenges of a fast-growing operation;
• Preferably be acquainted with Maltese and EU regulatory framework and procedures;
• Be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office software;
• Be proficient in spoken and written Maltese and English;
• Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset.
