Managing Director

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Managing Director to lead our client's corporate services firm based in Malta. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled professional with expertise in client relations, compliance and AML. The position is perfect for an ambitious leader ready to step into a senior executive role, driving operational excellence and outstanding client experiences across a varied client base.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight across all departments, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals, vision, and regulatory requirements
• Manage client service operations, maintaining superior standards of responsiveness, professionalism, and discretion
• Lead, mentor, and develop the team, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Act as a director within the group’s entities
• Ensure full compliance with local and international regulations, including AML and KYC standards
• Build and sustain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, intermediaries, and key industry partners
• Drive business growth initiatives, with a particular focus on the yacht management division
• Assist in budget preparation and implementation, ensuring effective financial oversight and governance
• Represent the company before regulators, industry associations, and stakeholders, maintaining a reputable and authoritative presence

Requirements

• Solid local experience in corporate services, trust administration, or fiduciary management
• Exposure to yacht management or maritime services is a strong asset
• Strong understanding of compliance, AML, and regulatory frameworks in Malta and internationally
• Background in client services, accounting or compliance with a strong emphasis on relationship management
• Eligible to hold a dual PQ of MLRO & Managing Director

Education and Experience

• Degree or Masters level of education in accounting, legal, business administration or similar
