Senior Remediation Associate

Our client, a locally renowned regulatory body is seeking to recruit a Senior Remediation Associate.

Responsabilties include: 

• Assist the manager in the supervision and mentoring of the team. 
• Aid in the implementation of policies and controls. 
• Carry out timely review of outcomes of compliance examinations and remediation plans.
• Participating in internal and external meetings. 
• Carrying out reviews to confirm the effective implementation of remediation plans, which may include: meetings with subject persons, system walk-throughs, documentary reviews, and sample-based testing
• Advising and assisting delegated entities to establish appropriate AML and CFT internal structures and controls
• Participate in regular training both internally and externally.
• Liaising with several stakeholders both internally and externally such as Risk teams and other Regulatory bodies 
• Assisting in other task related to evaluations and assessments being undertaken by various local and international bodies such as the EU, the Egmont Group, MONEYVAL, FATF, etc
• Potentially, representing the authority in proceedings, including acting as a witness, before any court, tribunal, or other adjudicating body
