Risk Management - Senior Executive

​A key client of ours specialising in the iGaming sector is currently looking to onboard a Risk Management - Senior Executive to join their team of professionals:

Duties:

• Coordinate and implement the relevant strategic objectives pertinent to the Risk Management Directorate as guided by the Head of Risk and Compliance
• Define an effective risk architecture of the Company including drafting risk management policies and procedures
• Conduct regular risk assessments and develop and maintain an effective risk response plan
• Identify and assess the various risk factors that might affect the gaming industry and in turn the Maltese jurisdiction
• Advise internal stakeholders on risk mitigation techniques
• Liaise with external stakeholders, such as the FIAU, the NCC, and other Government Bodies to consult and coordinate accordingly on risk-related matters
• Provide feedback with regards to new procedures, policies, directives, and regulations to ensure new regulations take into account key learning from a risk management perspective
• Assist from a risk perspective in the training of staff in different facets and roles
• Monitor and report the Company's risk performance
• Provide regular activity updates to the Head of Risk & Compliance / CRO and/or EXCO as well as the Board when needed
• Represent the Company in various conferences as may be required.

• A minimum of three (3) years working experience in a related area and role
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Proven expertise in the concepts, approaches, methods and techniques used to manage risk within an organization
• Ability to organise and present findings and recommendations in a constructive manner (both verbal and written)gam
• In possession of good leadership skills, able to give directions, mentor and motivate the respective team.

• In possession of a degree in a relevant field or equivalent (MQF level 6);
