Acumum Corporate Services Limited in Malta is looking to recruit a Risk & Compliance Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The role shall entail assisting the Compliance Director in assessing and monitoring the company’s exposure to risk and ensuring that such risk is properly managed and is maintained within the confines of the company’s risk appetite.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Compliance Director in planning, designing, and implementing risk management processes, tools, and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor, and report risks;
Carrying out client risk assessments;
Performing customer screening;
Carrying out client file reviews;
Maintaining company records, including due diligence;
Ensuring files are maintained in a correct manner;
Maintenance of Client Database and internal systems;
Filing and archiving;
Ongoing and ad hoc projects.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in a Business – preference shall be given to candidates whose Business Degree also includes elements of risk management;
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
A ‘can-do’ attitude;
The ability to establish positive relationships with clients and work colleagues;
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
