Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)

Stech Technology (Stech European Entertainment Limited) has an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to work with a truly amazing compliance team on a full-time basis. The role can be UK or Malta-based. 

Reporting to:
Chief Compliance Officer.

Department:
Compliance and AML.

Responsibilities:

• Management of the global AML function;
• Appointment as the company's 'Nominated Officer’ and MLRO;
• Development and implementation of the AML strategy and AML, CTF and B&C, Verification and Payments policies, procedures, systems, and technologies;
• Liaising with AML regulators, law enforcement, and other stakeholders wherever the business operates;
• Managing the investigation of suspicious betting activity and reporting where appropriate;
• Ensuring all staff receive appropriate training and guidance in relation to AML;
• Represent the company at selected conferences and on projects involving external parties for AML (including representations to regulators, law enforcement, etc);
• Manage timely and accurate reporting for all aspects of the AML functions.

Essential criteria:

• Gambling industry experience;
• PML licence holder (UK) or key function certificate holder (Malta);
• Professional qualifications such as the ICA Diploma in AML;
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk mitigation strategies;
• Exceptional organization and prioritization skills with proven ability to create strategic plans;
• Exceptional attention to detail & accuracy, particularly in external communications.

Desirable:

• Project management and business process improvement experience;
• Experience of the intelligence cycle of investigating financial crime.
