Head of Compliance

Our client is a bespoke, high end lifestyle management service group. They have also established themselves as a financial institution providing products and services to clients in Malta and other European countries. They are currently looking to employ a Head of Compliance to join their team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees and leads in the implementation of a Compliance Framework 
• Provides guidance on proper application and interpretation of laws, regulations and policies applicable to the Company
• Coordinates business and regulatory specific compliance reviews, routine checks and approvals.
• Provide leadership for the Compliance program governance and delivery.
• Develop metrics and report on the effectiveness of programs.
• Drives continuous improvement.
• Ensuring that there is a comprehensive suite of policies and procedures that are complete and up to date 
• Implements a monitoring and reporting mechanism to ensure Company’s compliance with prescribed regulations and laws.
• Develops effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new associates as well as ongoing training for existing associates
