We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our client's dynamic operation. The selected person will be reporting to the Head of Safety and Compliance and shall be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with regulations and company policies.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is an airline registered in Malta, providing a range of services to aviation and non-aviation business customers in Europe and beyond.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supporting the Head of Safety & Compliance to maintain compliance monitoring programmes as required by all applicable regulations and standards
  • Coordinating and conducting internal compliance audits within the respective operational departments
  • The timely dissemination of information to management and non-management operational personnel
  • Supporting the Head of Safety & Compliance with the development and maintenance of the internal audit plans and audit checklist
  • Monitoring the implementation of corrective actions resulting from audit findings
  • Supporting the Head of Safety & Compliance monitoring of all contracted and sub-contracted activities which involves conducting audits/inspections and, when required, travelling abroad
  • Ensuring robust and timely corrective actions resulting from the audit programme are accomplished
  • When required, liaise with the competent authority
  • Maintaining internal compliance documentation
  • Supporting the Head of Safety & Compliance with ad-hoc projects
  • Supporting the Head of Safety & Compliance to develop and deliver training
  • Supporting the Head of Safety & Compliance to develop presentations as required.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety and compliance environment
  • Knowledge of applicable EASA regulations
  • Proficient with the use of MS Office applications
  • Fluent in the English language both written and oral
  • Clean police conduct allows for the issuing of an airport security pass.


EDUCATION:

  • A Bachelor's degree.


WORKING TIME:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00. Be willing to travel abroad to undergo training.
