Compliance Officer

Our client, a leader in the FinTech industry, is looking to recruit a Compliance Officer who will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring necessary KYB, Sanction and PEP checks are completed
• Conducting Risk assessments 
• Following daily transaction monitoring procedures
• Assist in training all employees in AML, ABC and Whistle-blowing
• Aiding in external investigations;
• Review and update internal procedures
• Assisting with internal and external audits
• Internal and external reporting
• Follow company policies relating to SAR review and submission

• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Compliance/AML role
• Knowledge of EU AML regulations (a focus on Maltese and/or UK regulations would be considered an asset)
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft excel
• Highly conversant with search engines and advanced search techniques

• A second European language will be considered an asset
