Our client, a Corporate service provider is seeking to recruit a Compliance Executive to join their Compliance team. The selected candidate will report to the MLRO and Compliance officer and have the following responsibilities:
Carrying out internal reviews in relation to the company's procedures and policies and their implementation
Assisting in the coordination of regulatory examinations
Assisting in the management and development of the systems implemented by the department and ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness
Assisting company employees with AML/CFT training as well as subject persons and other company clients
Overseeing of compliance processes and ensuring clients' files are reviewed and updated regularly
Supporting in the development of procedures and their applications, including reviews of customer due diligence files and the provision of guidance and advice
Record keeping, internal filing and external reports, client onboarding processes, carrying out due diligence and KYC checks on both prospective and current clients
Keeping abreast on any updates and developments in the regulations and related laws whilst ensuring these are communicated with the management and other team members
Maintaining the business risk assessment whilst reporting significant risks to the compliance officer, MLRO and senior management as directed
Acting as the main point of internal contact for any compliance-related matters and responding to all reasonable requests
Assisting the senior Management with the implementation of Compliance requirements and any other related query from a regulatory perspective
Skill-sets and Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar environment
Excellent command of verbal and spoken English
Good communication and time management skills
Ability to work on own initiative and meet strict deadlines
Excellent eye for detail
Education & Experience
Candidates possessing related qualifications will be given preference
