Our client, a local renowned CSP is looking for a Compliance Executive who would be directly assisting and supporting the Head of Compliance and have the following responsibilities:

  • Carrying out relevant risk assessments in respect of the Company's operations and business to identify the Company's exposure to ML/TF risks and identifying measures through which such exposure can be mitigated
  • Setting up the company's AML/CFT, Compliance and Risk Management Programs, aimed at establishing the policies and procedures to be implemented by the company whilst continuously updating the said programs to ensure that they are in line with any developments which may take place 
  • Delivering AML/CFT and other compliance related training to the company's employees
  • Preparing periodic AML/CFT and compliance reports for presentation to the Board of Directors
  • Acting as a point of contact and information for other departments in order to understand their needs and ensure that they are well equipped in order to execute their obligations in the Company's AML/CFT Program
  • Preparing external reports and returns to be submitted to the relevant regulatory authorities in line with the company's compliance and AML/CFT obligations
  • Ensuring that the Company's business operations are conducted in a manner which is compliant with the laws, regulations, and internal standards
  • Carrying out ongoing monitoring from an AML/CFT perspective on existing clients and when this is deemed to be necessary
  • Carrying out research on an ongoing basis into the relevant AML/CFT and other regulatory legislation which may be applicable to the company
  • Taking ownership of the company's Compliance Monitoring Program to ensure that all compliance obligations are being adhered to
  • Liaising with the relevant authority regarding any licensing and compliance related matters
  • Maintaining the Company's Key Operation Processes Manual up to date to ensure that this constantly reflects a fair view of the company
  • Assisting the MLRO and Head of Compliance with the day to day running of the department
Skill-sets and Requirements
  • A minimum two years experience within a similar role
  • Excellent proficiency in verbal and written English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Practical approach towards problem solving
  • Strong analytical skills especially with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to face challenges and work on own initiative but also as part of a team
Education & Experience
  • A tertiary level of education is required
  • Candidates possessing a law degree will be given preference
  • Compliance or AML/CFT related qualifications would be considered an asset
