 Inspire is one of the leading NGOs in Malta, helping hundreds of individuals with various disabilities to achieve their full potential. They are looking to recruit a Team Leader (STEP Intensive Early Intervention (IEI) Programme) to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role: 
Our STEP Intensive Early Intervention (IEI) Programme is growing its team and is seeking a Team Leader to serve as a point of reference for the tutors within the Programme. Being a member of the interdisciplinary team, they shall guide the tutors in taking responsibility for drafting and working out an Individualised Family Service Plan (IFSP) concerning the future goals and possibilities of students within the Early Intervention Programme. The Team Leader shall analyse the reports and provide feedback to tutors to ensure that these are written professionally and presented to the parents by the stipulated timeframes.

The Team Lead shall be expected to liaise with other professionals within the organization to offer a truly multidisciplinary service to the client. This involves regular meetings with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists. As Team leaders, they shall be expected to conduct interviews for the Programme, coach and mentor new employees, and provide regular feedback. The selected candidate should motivate and inspire the tutors by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages the team members, demonstrates flexibility as well as lead by example.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:
  • Recognised qualification (Degree) at MQF Level 6 in Psychology, Social Science, Education, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team, managing a team and supervising junior employees would be considered an asset.
