Inspire Foundation in Malta is looking to recruit a Speech & Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate shall form part of a multidisciplinary team providing therapeutic services to a number of persons with different needs, through individual & group sessions. Job Role: Speech & Language Pathologist shall be working with individuals exhibiting a variety of difficulties such as autism, profound multiple learning difficulties, and behaviour that challenges. The chosen candidate shall carry out comprehensive specialist initial assessments of clients within a multidisciplinary context, offer intervention according to need, monitor progress, and reassess periodically in order to be able to formulate professional reports. The SLP is expected to implement group sessions as well as individual sessions according to need. They shall be working in collaboration with other team members and support systems in order to maximise the development of the service user’s potential in an inclusive environment.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess:
MQF Level 6 Degree in Communication Therapy;
CPCM registration;
Knowledge of a range of SLP methodologies;
Work experience in the disability field is desirable;
Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English.
