Richmond Foundation in Malta is looking to recruit Mental Health Recovery Support Workers to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
Mental Health Recovery Support Workers are to assist in the maintenance of the Foundation's residential service. The aim is to support and empower residents to achieve as good a quality of life as possible whilst addressing their mental, physical and personal needs. The role is to enable each resident to contribute to the service and to promote their capacity for independence within and outside it. They are to participate in the monitoring, evaluation, and development of the program whilst supporting the other staff members.
Applicants should preferably be:
In possession of a diploma/certificate in residential care or a related subject will be considered an asset
Experienced in residential work.
*Successful applicants must be committed to the social inclusion of persons with mental health problems and be fluent in spoken and written English.
