Room Attendant

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests, ensuring their stay meets the hotel’s quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, dust, and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows and surfaces.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure trolleys, storage rooms, and cleaning equipment are well-maintained and organised.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and use cleaning chemicals appropriately.
• Work efficiently to meet room cleaning targets and timeframes.

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
