Laundry Supervisor

Shortletsmalta Ltd is seeking to recruit a Laundry (working) Supervisor to join its team and oversee the laundry and cleaning operations

*To be considered for this role, candidates applying must be living in Malta and have a valid work permit. 

Main Duties:

• Plan and execute the daily operations of the laundry, including stock control and keeping track of all items
• Ensure that all laundry is impeccably cleaned, including quality control
• Preparation of laundry bags to be delivered to properties
• Manage a small team of staff including delivery drivers to ensure proper execution of work, including rostering
• Procure all necessary products related to the operations 
• Keep a record of all movements and send reports as necessary.

Requirements:

• Good communication skills in English both spoken and written
• Proficient in the use of computers and knowledge on Office applications
• Able to plan and ensure that the everyday operations run in a smooth and timely manner
• Willing to work early hours for logistical reasons
• Must work rosters that include weekends and public holidays, depending on operational requirements
• Basic knowledge of the use of mobile apps
• Can work under pressure, takes initiative and well-organized
• Recruit and train staff
• Clean police conduct
• Experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.
