Laundry Attendant

Paradise Bay Hotel Ltd. is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens, towels, staff uniforms, and guest laundry are handled with care and maintained to the highest hygiene and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry according to established procedures.
• Inspect all items for stains, damage, or wear and report any irregularities to the supervisor.
• Operate and maintain laundry machinery including washers, dryers, ironers, and folding equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including storage rooms and supply shelves.
• Monitor inventory and inform supervisors when supplies or detergents need replenishing.
• Follow all hotel hygiene and health & safety protocols.
• Assist in issuing clean uniforms to staff and receiving dirty ones as per procedure.
• Support housekeeping and linen room operations as needed.

Requirements:

• Secondary school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hotel or commercial laundry is preferred.
• Ability to handle physical tasks and lift heavy laundry bags or linen bundles.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, especially under time pressure.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic English communication skills required.
