We are seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented Deputy Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Mellieha on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction from the outset.

Job Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Deputy Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the overseeing overall cleanliness and appearance of the Hotel. This role involves assisting the Housekeeping Manager in the managing of the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and maintenance, and working hand in hand in achieving efficient housekeeping operations to enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including Room & Public Area Attendants, and Laundry staff.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
• Train and evaluate Housekeeping Team.
• Address and resolve guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping services.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring housekeeping procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
• Monitor Housekeeping inventory, including linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
• Maintain proper stock levels and oversee the ordering and purchasing of supplies.
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Communicate effectively with the Team and Guests.
• Any other duties commensurate to the role.
