Construction Bidding Executive

As we grow and develop, we are now seeking a highly motivated and organized Construction Bidding Executive to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Reviewing project specifications and requirements to determine the scope of work and estimate costs, together with Work-out rate build-ups
• Working with procurement/suppliers/subcontractors to obtain the best rates available
• Working with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information needed to prepare accurate and competitive bids
• Preparing detailed bid proposals, including cost estimates, schedules, and project narratives
• Compiling reports, such as Work Plans, Construction Method Statements, Programme of Works & Resource Charts
• Responding to requests for clarification or additional information from clients and project teams
• Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to negotiate changes and modifications to bids
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to identify new business opportunities and negotiations
• Ensuring that all bids are prepared on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Professional and/or Experiential Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in on-site management coupled with at least 2 years of experience in construction bidding
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimating
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple bidding projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including management, contractors, and clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ACAD, and bidding software
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
