Treasury Accountant

Our client, operating within the Aviation Industry is seeking to recruit a Treasury Accountant to join their growing team and company. The selected person will have the following responsibilities:  

• Processing of payments in both the accounting software and the banking portal 
• Reconciling of the balance sheet and clearing of outstanding items 
• Preparing cash flows reports, forecasting and related analysis 
• Bank incoming and outgoing payment reconciliations 
• Liaising with third parties such as banks, suppliers, customers and professional advisors as required 
• Provision of statements and information to the finance teams and ensuring up to date accounting for all companies
• Seeking opportunities proactively in order to improve processes, controls and documentation 
• Managing loans and third party financing activities, including records of related agreements, reviewing and preparing interest workings as well as timely settlements
• Participating and supporting in assigned internal projects 
• Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time 

Requirements

• Minimum three years previous working experience in a similar role
• Possess excellent intrapersonal skills maintaining the highest standards at all times
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent team player
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Education and Experience

• In possession of a University Degree in Accounting or Banking & Finance or hold an ACCA qualification
