Infrastructure Engineer

Our well-established client in the banking and finance sector is urgently looking for two Infrastructure Specialists to join their growing IT department. 

Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with the Infrastructure Manager and IT team to ensure efficient management of infrastructure across the organization
• Manage and secure hardware and software systems including end-user devices and software
• Manage virtual, cloud-based environments
• Coordinate backups and continuously monitor infrastructure bandwidth to ensure resources are properly allocated
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade systems that monitor the infrastructure continuously
• Actively resolve any issues that impair the operation of the organization by providing second line of support to users, while escalating issues to the third line of support as needed
• Maintain and update contingency plans
• Be a strong member of the team that actively participates in new technology initiatives and properly documents all processes and procedures
