Our client, a well know Financial Services Provider, is looking to recruit a Head of Business Performance & Analysis to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
Owns Strategy, Long range plan, Budget and Forecast workstreams across the Group
Translate the strategy into operational business plans through market analysis/sizing, key performance indicators definition, business modelling, and business forecasting
Ensures that performance is monitored, and necessary actions are taken to achieve the plans
Provide strategic and tactical recommendations to the executive management, highlights performance risks and opportunities
Ensures that adequate management information system is in place with objective of maintaining a flow of regular, granular, and relevant financial and non-financial information
Owns collection, transformation, analysis, distribution, and visualization of MIS finance data for the Group
Acts as a change agent and ensures timely implementation of required infrastructural and operational changes and improvements
Responsible for team members, external consultants, and outsourced functions efficiency for the area of responsibility
Handles MIS reporting cycle within the reporting calendar with production of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly management reports/dashboards/KPIs with various levels of granularity
Efficiently handles large amount of data (including extraction, cleansing, analytics, presentation)
Ensures ad hoc reporting as and when requested
Develops/amends dashboards and reports to drive management decisions
Monitors and analyses performance of Group, subsidiaries, business lines, customers against budgets, forecast, trends and other relevant benchmarks; designs corrective measures as needed
Skill-sets and Requirements
Minimum of 7 years professional experience, 5 years in a similar role within financial institution
Sound knowledge and understanding of the bank’s core operating and reporting systems
Good knowledge of IFRS and financial regulations
Technology and data tools savvy including data management, warehousing, ETL, analytics, business intelligence, visualization, reporting tools
Experience in leading on and off site smaller high performing teams
Proficiency in MS Office, data tools, visualization
Education & Experience
BA in accounting, finance, banking, statistics, data field; MA preferred
