Our client, a well-known CSP is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager into their growing team.
Responsibilities:
Contributing to existing and new initiatives to develop innovative corporate lending products for the Malta market. Identifying and executing on opportunities to expand adoption and usage across Bank lending products
Support the Bank in its market positioning efforts, whilst contributing to adjusting our product framework with full awareness to inherent risk and potential reward balance
Ensuring that a strong customer acquisition strategy is in place. Direct calling on new and existing referral contacts and prospective borrowers
Maintaining a strong network in the local business community including advisory and accounting firms. Keep abreast of industry, competition, financial markets and other changes that may impact the portfolio
Preparing presentations and reports that are meaningful and achieve maximum impact. Conduct industry research and write summary reports as needed
Ensuring risk appetite is adhered to while supporting Corporate Finance in achieving business plan goals, KPIs and the target market share
Working independently on origination and closure end to end including credit analysis, credit application completion and documentation supervision
Building expertise in all aspects of the business case by analyzing data, performing competitive and market research, and gathering feedback from customers
Demonstrating a high level of administrative competence, ability to analyze problems and methodical approach in solving them
Contributing to positive team spirit within the department and other units and colleagues within the Group
Supporting the Business Unit Head in the direction and consistent execution of commercial banking goals and Malta corporate strategy
