Vineyard Operator

Our client, a major player within the FMCG Market is currently seeking a Vineyard Operator to join their team. Working hand in hand with the Winemaker you will be managing different stages of wine production. Your main responsibilities will include: 

• Taking care of the crops and assisting with blending various grapes together to achieve a finished wine
• Coordinating with viticulturists to grow and harvest grapes
• Directing the fermentation process and supervising the aging process
• Overseeing the bottling process
• Using plant, climate and soil moisture monitoring equipment for scheduling irrigation and modeling grapevine shape/phrenology
• Collecting, organizing and reporting viticulture data to support farming and marketing decisions

• Previous experience will be considered an asset
• Fluency in English and either French or Italian is also an asset

• A Diploma / Degree in Viticulture, Horticulture or a related field is required
