Unec Equipment (UNEC) Co Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Shipping Clerk to join their team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with freight forwarders and shipping lines in order to obtain the shipping and freight quotes
- Liaising with international suppliers in order to arrange for collection as well as coordinate deliveries with shipping agents, shipping lines, haulers, and port authorities
- Recording inventory movement, and maintaining detailed reports of faulty parts replaced under warranty
- Organising cross shipments and preparing all necessary documentation
- Extracting data from sources available and compiling necessary reports as and when requested
- Other general administrative duties may be commensurate with the level of the post.
Requirements:
- Experience performing clerical duties, preferably within a similar role
- Be able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Be highly organised and have high attention to detail
- Be able to communicate in both Maltese and English. Communicating in the Italian language would be considered an asset
- Minimum O level of education
- Good knowledge of PC required, preferably ECDL certified.
