Our Client, a leading local law firm, is seeking to recruit an administrator to join their shipping industry. Candidates must be passionate about the maritime industry and have previous experience in Yachting, Shipping, or Freight. Candidates without experience in the said industries but have qualifications in relation to the industry would also be considered. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with Transport Malta, Malta Business Registry and other authorities on day to day matters
  • Providing first-line support to lawyers and managers, including opening new matter files, time-recording, billing and debt collection
  • Generally assisting in day to day work concerning the regulatory, technical and administrative upkeep of clients’ files
  • Handling and replying to queries received from clients
  • Assisting with the inputting of timesheets and preparation of invoices
  • Carrying out AML checks on new clients
  • Performing ad hoc work delegated by senior members within the team

Working hours: Monday to Friday (08:30hrs - 17:30hrs)

Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Candidates must be passionate about the maritime industry and have previous experience in Yachting, Shipping, or Freight.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, and preferably Maltese
Education & Experience
  • Minimum of A Level Education
  • A related qualification would be desired but not a necessity
  • Local Experience within a similar role
  • Proficiency in MS Office
