Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa in Malta, is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to the General Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the GM the personal assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day running and administration of the executive office in a courteous and professional manner befitting a prestigious 5-star hotel.

The PA duties includes:

  • Answering to guest queries and requests, often corresponding on behalf of the general manager.
  • Taking minutes during management meetings and provide general assistance during presentations.
  • Resolve guest / customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Provide assistance to the general manager in the day-to-day operation of the Executive Office.
  • Ensure activities being coordinated with other hotel departments; facilities increased levels of communication and guest / customer satisfaction.
  • Handle travel arrangements, complete expense vouchers where appropriate.
  • Interact with guests, VIPs, repeat guest or previously complaining guests.
  • Manager GEI and follow-up on all Medallia alerts. Correspond with all guests completing the survey and share feedback with departments concerned.
  • Be a role model to all employees and ensure confidentiality at all times.

 Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Has at least 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Attention to detail in terms of content, spelling and grammar of written correspondence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills and an ability to integrate into all levels of the organisation.
  • High levels of organisational skills and efficiency.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to work under pressure both as part of a team and also working on own initiative.
  • Proactive and innovative.
