Our client, a well-established company in import, distribution, and retail requires a Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director. Your main responsibilities will include:
Managing the MD's diary which involves liaising with high profile and senior external stakeholders to schedule appointments
Providing the first point of contact for telephone and email inquiries to the MD
Managing projects on behalf of MD
Supporting MD in compilations of reports such as data collections, research and creating presentations
Acting as a liaison and pricing support to BODs - Handling all logistics for board meetings, events, draft agendas, and distribution of presentation materials
Recording meeting minutes
Following up on all tasks, initiatives, and reports to ensure delivery on deadlines
Maintaining efficient coordination and communication with the management of business units of other companies under the same directorship
Managing all aspects of the organization's office services
Organizing events including meetings, lunches and dinners as requested by MD
Maintaining a calendar of deadlines
Managing petty cash reimbursements and reconciliation
Skill-sets and Requirements
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position
proficiency with application tools such as Word, Excel & Powerpoint
Self-motivated, well organized and having good communication skills
Ability to work well within a cross functional team
