Defiant Commercial Ltd in Malta is looking to immediately recruit an Office Clerk to join their administrative team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful applicant will take responsibility for basic office/accounting duties.

*To be considered for this vacancy, candidates must be living in Malta and have a valid work permit.

Responsibilities:
  • Filing
  • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including simple bookkeeping and banking tasks
  • Reconciliations of daily sales
  • Answering the phone
  • Inputting payments
  • Other accounting & administrative tasks as required.

Education and experience:
  • A minimum of an 'O' level or equivalent in accounts/maths
  • Previous experience in an administrative/accounting role would be an asset but full training will be provided.
Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Maltese and English
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the business.
