A vacancy has arisen for the post of Finance Clerk within Farsons Beverage Imports Company Limited. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the selected candidate will be mainly required to provide the most efficient, reliable, and timely service in support of the smooth running of the department.
The selected candidate will be required to:
- Receive, collect, and sort/code appropriate relevant documents and carry out necessary workings/costings as required;
- Assist in the preparation of excise duty declarations;
- Post invoices, receipts, or other accounting documents to appropriate ledgers or journals;
- Assign expenses to appropriate cost centres;
- Assist in the analysis of accounts as required;
- Ensure the accuracy of transferred data and carry out checking procedures;
- File and maintain records and reports pertinent to accounting technical operations according to laid down systems and procedures;
- Assist in the retrieval of documents from filing systems and ensure proper refiling according to established procedures;
- Assist in any stock takes as required and in the annual stock take process;
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts, including daily Z reading checks.
The selected candidate will:
- Have, at least, an O Level qualification in accounts;
- Have good communication skills and organizational skills
- Be ICT literate;
- Be ready to work flexibly in a team.
