Role Overview
Our Client is seeking a dynamic Executive - 
​​​​​Commercial & Administration to support the smooth running of day-to-day operations across various business areas. This role combines administrative coordination, client relations, business development, and marketing activities with logistical and commercial responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while collaborating closely with management, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Human Resources & Administration: Act as the liaison with the HR function, manage office operations, maintain insurance policies, and ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Customer Engagement & Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through meetings and presentations; support prospecting efforts and client communication to enhance lead generation.
  • Marketing & Brand Coordination: Oversee marketing activities including online presence, branding, and promotional content; liaise with subcontractors managing digital campaigns; organise the Company’s participation in industry events and trade fairs.
  • Commercial Support & Financial Administration: Prepare and follow up on quotations and invoices; monitor receivables and assist in ensuring timely collections; contribute to cost control and procurement planning.
  • Inventory & Stock Control: Manage stock levels and storage areas to ensure efficient inventory tracking and accessibility.
  • Project Support & Logistics: Track project timelines and provide logistical support to engineers; monitor progress, documentation, and deadlines to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Education: A recognised qualification in business administration, commerce, management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar commercial and administrative role; experience in an engineering or technical setting is considered an asset.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Clear, confident communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building capabilities and a client-oriented mindset.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Organisation: Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-Motivated: Takes initiative, works independently, and maintains a high level of responsibility.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with a hands-on approach to resolving operational challenges.
