Land Registration Agency in Malta is seeking to recruit a Customer Experience Officer (Junior Administrative Officer grade) to join their team on a full-time basis.

Is this for me?
This is an entry-level position at the Agency, so on-the-job training and mentoring would be provided. 
As a Customer Experience Officer working in our Notarial section, your role would be to vet, review, and process any applications related to property registration. This position would be ideal for you if you are a person who enjoys reviewing documents, has a critical eye for detail, and is interested in property in general. Since this is an entry-level position, you will also have the opportunity to grow within the Agency. 
Take a look at a snapshot of what you would be doing on a day-to-day basis. 

This is what I will be doing:

  • Receive, vet, review, and process all Land Registration applications; enter any required data on the Land Registration IT system, including the digitizing of parcels under the supervision of your assigned manager
  • Oversee the clerical staff assigned to my office
  • Input and upkeep of databases kept by the office, I would work with
  • Receive fees and carry out daily reconciliation of fees received by my office. 
  • Manage customers and deal with stakeholders when receiving applications and submissions.
  • Answer queries and hold meetings as required with my clients to address any complaints, and communicate with them any decisions/policies adopted by the Agency
  • Deal with email correspondences, cases, and enquiries related to the function of the Agency under the direction of management
  • Assist in the migration of data from physical to digital means
  • Ensure that all actions and tasks I undertake follow the Agency’s policies and directives
  • Honour deadlines and timely delivery of objectives set to me by my manager, and collaborate to ensure that my team/unit meets the required deadlines
  • Ensure that the workload I am assigned is dealt with appropriately and any pending caseloads are dealt with efficiently and without undue delays
  • Participate in the development of specific strategic plans and objectives of the Agency, where I can table suggestions relating to the modification of objectives
  • Any other duties as may be required by the Chief Executive Officer of the Agency or his delegate.


This is what I need to be eligible:
Lingual Fluency:
For this role, it is a must that you be fluent in both English and Maltese. However, any other additional language will be considered an asset. 
Qualifications and Experience:
Four (4) O levels, including Maltese, Mathematics, English, [MQF Level 3], together with a subject that shows IT Office Application skills or any other relevant technical subject
and
One (1) A level [MQF Level 4] in a relevant subject or two (2) years of office experience. Experience in a role related to the technical aspect of land/property registration or having general knowledge of site plans and property contracts will be considered an asset.
If I do not have the above, I can also apply if I have:
School leaving certificate [MQF Level 1], which must include IT Office Application Skills or another relevant technical subject
and
Four (4) years of office experience. Experience in a role related to the technical aspect of land/property registration or having extensive knowledge of site plans and property contracts will be considered as an asset.

The Land Registration Agency is a Maltese Government Agency that oversees the registration of land in both Malta and Gozo. It's function is to receive, process and vet applications with respect to land registration and also ensure that such registrations are done according to current legislation. The Agency's function supports the general public, professionals and other Government bodies that require the services of the Agency.
