Alecta Advisors in Malta is currently seeking to recruit an Assistant Advisor/Administrator to join their team on a full/part-time basis.

We have various job openings at this level.

Job Role:
The selected candidate will be involved in several client projects including business planning, business valuations, internal audits, feasibility studies, financial due diligence, and compliance work. Training on the job will be provided. 
The selected candidate may also be assisting with administrative matters of the firm. This is a great opportunity for candidates who wish to build a career in the financial advisory sector.

Requirements:

  • Must have a good command of MS Excel and be willing to learn and commit to delivering high-quality work within agreed timeframes
  • Qualifying candidates must have a minimum of ‘A’ Level in Accounting or Mathematics Business Studies or English and preferably have commenced an accounting or business-related degree 
  • Candidates must demonstrate that they are capable of working on their own initiative. This position offers the candidate excellent opportunities for career development and progression.


Responsibilities
Assist senior members of the team in:

  • Building financial projections
  • Assisting in internal audit risk assessments
  • Carrying out feasibility studies for new projects
  • Assisting in compliance work
  • Carrying out financial reconciliations
  • Administration of the firm and clients.
