Administrative Officer

Job Description
Manoel Island Yacht Yard Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit an Administrative Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
The Administrative Officer reports directly to the Survival Equipment Station Manager. The Administrative Officer is to liaise with the rest of the Commercial Department and all other Managers / Supervisors as required in the line of duties.

Main Responsibilities:

• Creating and sending quotations, invoices, and statements.
• Checking data input.
• Establishing and maintaining satisfactory relationships/communication channels, with clients and suppliers.
• Complying with the department’s processes and requirements.
• Manages, updates, and maintains records/databases.
• Report the progress of work and any other issues concerning the quality of work or safety concerns.
• Carry out the work assigned to the required quality standard, efficiently and according to the company’s regulations & procedures.
• To adhere to MIYY policy described in quality management policy.
• Keeps a clean and safe environment in the office.
• Any other work that is deemed necessary in support of the management team.

Manoel Island Yacht Yard Limited (MIYY) is one of the oldest established yacht repair yard in the Mediterranean. It provides a range of repair and maintenance services to yachts located at the Yard or afloat. In addition, it also operates a Life Saving Equipment Service Station which is Lloyds approved and certified by 17 brands.
