Our client is looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to join the Corporate Services Section.  The successful candidate will be responsible for;

  • Providing administrative assistance and support to the Corporate Services Section
  • Assisting with incoming and outgoing correspondence and reception duties when required
  • Compiling reports and other documentation
  • Maintaining the electronic and hard copy filing systems 
  • Operating IT Systems, including the e-procurement portal and SFM
  • Liaising with suppliers and assisting with the purchase of supplies and services
  • Preparing Purchase Orders
  • Keeping inventory records
  • Attending Tender Opening Sessions, Evaluation Committee Sessions and other pertinent committees
  • Carrying out of bank reconciliations and administration of petty cash
  • Providing support in management and preparation relating to events organised
Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in English and Maltese
  • Accounting and/or administrative experience in a similar role
Education & Experience
  • A-level standard of education
  • ICT qualification will be considered an asset
