Our client, a well known International Audit Firm, is currently looking to recruit a Tax Accountant to join their Global Compliance and Reporting team as a Consultant in (Malta).You will have the opportunity to work on a large multi-country client engagement portfolio. 

Responsibilities:

• Act as a central point of contact- liaise with your international clients and colleagues with respect to European VAT and VAT compliance
• Monitoring the quality of the indirect tax data and reports of your clients 
• Prepare/Review indirect tax returns 
• Follow up on legislative changes and business changes in order to ensure that the systems and/or processes are updated
• Identify Issues and opportunities to continuously improve the VAT compliance processes
• Actively participate to the training and coaching session in your development plan to ensure continuous development of your technical knowledge
• Preparation and review of clients tax computations
• Preparation and submission of Corporate Income Tax Returns 
• Preparation and submission of Personal Income Tax Returns 
• Preparation of shareholders registration forms and claim for refund forms 
• Assisting clients in ensuring that all their tax compliance obligations are met within the stipulated deadlines 
• Assisting with daily administrative tasks and executing other ad-hoc requests
