Senior Auditor

Our client, a leader in the Finance and Legal Sector, is currently seeking a Senior Auditor to form part of their growing team:

Job Requirements:

• Responsible for ensuring all audits are carried out diligently, in a timely manner
• Preparation of audit clients' tax computations and tax returns
• Providing tax and audit advice, as required
• Responsible for carrying out and completing the financial audit
• Train, mentor and assist junior staff
• Preparation of management accounts, analysis of variances and other ratios, where necessary

Education:

• Accounts University Degree, ACCA or ACA

Experience:

• Previous experience in an audit-related role within an audit firm
• Knowledge of IFRS & GAPSE is essential
• Knowledge of the Companies Act and The Income Tax Act is a necessity

Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Maltese and English; Italian will be considered an asset
• Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Must be highly organised and meticulous
