Senior Accounts Executive

Bradford Jacobs in Malta is looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Executive to join their team on a full-time basis.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Accounts Executive, you will have the challenging but rewarding role of processing our international companies' accounts across the group, including Malta, Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany.  Giving great exposure to both local Malta and international accounting. The role would be ideal for someone coming from or interested in a career in international or client accounting. You will be organized, passionate about client relations, and focused on providing a creative service level both internally and externally. As well as being adaptable, a knowledgeable multi-tasker and having great communication skills.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Main tasks and responsibilities will focus on assisting the Group Accountants and perform all accounts related daily tasks for our group companies situated all over Europe. Such as:

• Raising sales invoices using Sage Evolution and related administration for different group companies;
• ​​​​​​Administration and recording of supplier invoices;
• Recording bank transactions and performing reconciliations;
• Calculate and record journals;
• Assisting with the VAT returns preparations;
• Assist with monthly/yearly accounts closures;
• Be in contact with local accountants for our international group companies;
• Ad hoc duties as requested by Group Accountants or Managers.

Skills and Experience:

• Fluent English - further European languages would be advantageous;
• 5+ experience working as an accounts clerk or executive;
• Advanced numerical skills;
• Microsoft office literate, solid Excel knowledge;
• Proactive, focused, and supportive attitude, recognize responsibility;
• Team player but can work on own initiative;
• Sage Line 50 / Sage Evolution experience is an advantage;
• ACCA students are welcome to join.
