Payroll & Accounts Clerk

Job Description
C. Fino & Sons Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Payroll & Accounts Clerk to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
The chosen candidate will be responsible to oversee all aspects and issue payroll in a timely manner and for the upkeep of the accounting function of subsidiary companies in a timely manner.

Skills, Education & Experience:

• An ordinary level of education in Accounting;
• At least 3 years experience in payroll;
• Excellent data entry skills – fast and accurate;
• Highly organized with a positive attitude;
• A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively;
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal);
• A problem solver with the ability to assume responsibility and act on their own initiative;

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and computation of payroll including reports
• Maintain, creditors, debtors & general ledger
• Reconciliation of bank accounts statements;
• Handling VAT requirements
• Adhering to security policies.
