Camilleri Spiteri Advisory Services Limited in Malta is currently looking to hire a Junior Accounts Executive to join their team on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Partner, the selected candidate’s duties would include:
- Client bookkeeping and accounting services to a portfolio of corporate clients
- Liaising with clients and handling various requests in a timely manner
- Liaising with clients’ auditors and ensuring that reporting deadlines are met
- Preparation and submission of client’s VAT
- Assist with the compilation of management accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of final accounts for audit
- Performing bank, inter-company, and other nominal ledger reconciliations
- Other general accounting duties as may be required.
The preferred candidate should meet the following requirements:
- An ‘A’ level standard of education in Accounts, AAT, or in the initial stages of ACCA
- Computer literacy and a good background in IFRS and GAPSME
- Be able to work on his/her own initiative and in a team
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
- Very strong knowledge of MS Office applications and Sage
- Ability to work to deadlines with moderate supervision
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Maturity and strong determination to get the job done and produce an output of consistently high quality.
