Junior Accounts and Audit Officer

Our client within Financial Services is seeking a Junior Accounts Officer to join their growing team. 

• Performing bookkeeping duties
• Bank reconciliations
• Issuing and posting of invoices
• Maintaining the general ledgers and reporting up to trial balance stage
• Assisting in management accounts
• The preparation of VAT returns
• Any other duties that may be required

• 1 year experience within an accounting function
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken are necessary for this role;
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal departments ensuring lines of communication remain open;
• Competent in the use of standard office tools including XERO, Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Excel;

• A - Level in Accounts or initial stages of ACCA
