DBS Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. Candidates must have experience working in a similar role and must be residing in Malta.
Responsibilities:
The handling of clients' accounts and other corporate requirements as required by the company
Updating accounting records for clients and processing entries
Keeping clients' records up to date and in line with policies related to risk and compliance
Filing of accounting and tax documentation
Performing of end of monthly procedures such as prepayments and ledger reconciliations
Processing of payments
Liaising with clients when necessary
Assisting in the preparation of reports and documents in line with accounting standards
Payroll calculations for a portfolio of clients
Handling of payroll queries
Handling any administrative duties
Any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the department.
