DBS Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. Candidates must have experience working in a similar role and must be residing in Malta.
Responsibilities:
- The handling of clients' accounts and other corporate requirements as required by the company
- Updating accounting records for clients and processing entries
- Keeping clients' records up to date and in line with policies related to risk and compliance
- Filing of accounting and tax documentation
- Performing of end of monthly procedures such as prepayments and ledger reconciliations
- Processing of payments
- Liaising with clients when necessary
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and documents in line with accounting standards
- Payroll calculations for a portfolio of clients
- Handling of payroll queries
- Handling any administrative duties
- Any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the department.
