Junior Accountant

Our client within the Travel Industry is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to the Head of Accounts, the selected candidate will be responsible for

• Financial reporting including upkeep and preparation of accounts.
• Preparation of Management accounts on a monthly basis, including variance analysis.
• Overseeing the overseas operations in terms of financial control.
• Assist with reporting, forecasts and budgetary processes.
• Identify areas for improvement, provide recommendations.
• Liaise with bank if and when necessary.
• Assist in other ad hoc work as directed by the department Head.

• A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role
• A team player
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of Italian would be considered an asset
• Eye for detail
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

• Actively studying ACCA or equivalent
